It makes me extremely sad, and torn between saying the right words, or the useful words.
If I use phrases such as “God bless Japan”, I feel as if I am lying to people, because I think the God that sentence refers to is probably not really going to do anything constructive to help them. I am not even sure if he will do so much as just blessing them, because, after all, he allowed this to happen in the first place. It would make him quite contradictory, or indecisive to change his mind that fast.
However, if I stay true to my belief, and refuse to echo others when they say “God bless Japan”, as any decent human being should do, well, I am just committing social suicide, am I not?
That is why we need the Flying Spaghetti Monster, who is the one true God, the real deal, and will do wonder without fail. So when I say “Flying Spaghetti Monster bless Japan”, He really will bless them and make it all better, while I so my donating, and others carry on aiding.
Really and truly, my heart goes out to all who are affected by such tragic event. May the Flying Spaghetti Monster bless you all, and keep everyone safe.
