Magical Touch
Noodly appendage V.S. cephalopodic appendage

I am leaving for a three day holiday to Disneyland Paris. It has occurred to me that while I am chasing Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck in the park, not much doodling could be done.

Therefore, I decided to make a FSM toy (sounds quite kinky) by recycling some shopping bag handles, buttons, and old socks.

The plan is to take it with me, so I could snap some photos of FSM touching Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck, as proof of my missionary effort and His noodly outreach.

Couples of other things:

I have decided, with great pain in my heary, to lessen the frequency of noodly creation. As devoted as I would like to be, right now I am using my daily running hours to make doodles, and FSM would agree that it would be healthier if I maintain my running routine, while take longer to develop better quality artwork.

This will allow me time to move on to making some actual t-shirts, which is what I set out to make in the first place.

I might also turn the “For FSM’s Sake” picture into art prints. If you are interested, please leave a message so I could determine the order quantity.

Today’s doodle is a special dedication to the Spaghetti Viking, who also contributed to the FSM Bless Japan fund generously. Flying Spaghetti Monster be with him!

I am dedicating today’s doodle to Jennifer “Monkey” ちゃん as a thanks to her for the generous donation. Flying Spaghetti Monster will be with her always!

It’s Pi Day!

I started with making a Flying Spaghetti-Pie Monster. It however turned out to be quite gross-looking, so I did another classic Pi Spaghetti Monster instead.

Flying Spaghetti-Pie Monster!!!!!
It really is a monster

Something new that I learned today is that there really is something called a spaghetti pie. Looks like it could give you a carb/cholesterol overdose very easily…

Omamori (おまもり, 御守) are protective amulets in Japanese Shinto religion. They could be obtained from shrines or temples dedicated to various deities, and are supposed to ward off bad luck and keep the wearer safe.

To take part in the Japanese earthquake relief, Noodly is raising fund to donate to International Medical Corps through it’s UK partner.

And all you need to do is to “Like” and share this blog entry on Facebook.

For every 100 likes it receives, Noodly will add £100 to the fund, until it reaches its goal of £1000 .

This fundraising will end on 20th March, 2011, Sunday midnight.

Noodly has added £500 to the fund for a start. If the total donation reaches its target i.e. receives 500 likes before the deadline, Noodly will add another £500 to match.

Simply put, if this post get more than 500 likes within a week, that will be £1500 (approx. $2400) out of Noodly’s pocket to a reputable charity, without you paying anything yourself!

Isn’t that too good to be true? Well, Flying Spaghetti Monster can make anything possible. It’s magic.

So please help Japan, share the love, and may the peace of Flying Spaghetti Monster be upon you.

Visit Noodly’s Fundraising page to see the progress.

It’s UK 2011 census time. Today, I came across this story about a series of  census campaign posters got banned because some were concerned that the usage of the phrase “for God’s sake” would be offensive. The posters could be found here.

I was inspired to make today’s doodle a call to action: for Flying Spaghetti Monster’s sake, let’s all do the right thing.

It had always puzzled me that my nephew, who is still a toddler and does not speak a single proper word, would love Spongebob so much. Then it occurred to me that…

… It was created in the likeness of our Lord! Now who would not love the Flying Spaghetti Monster? We were all born Pastafarian after all.
